Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in Bharat’ initiative and suggested that Russia can draw inspiration from the success stories of its partners, such as Bharat,to promote the growth of its own domestic industries. Praising the policies in the Russian port town of Vladivostok, Putin said that PM Modi is just doing the ‘right thing’. Significantly, he made the remarks while speaking at the 8th Eastern Economic Forum. Putin also added that domestically made automobile must be used and Bharat has already set examples through its policies under the leadership of PM Modi.
