Engineers’ Day is observed annually on September 15 in Bharat, Sri Lanka, and Tanzania. Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his greetings to all engineers on Engineer’s Day. He praised their innovative thinking, commitment and their integral role in the country’s advancement. He highlighted their contributions, which span from infrastructure projects to technological advancements, impacting various facets of our daily lives. In 1968, the Government of Bharat decided to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mokshagundma Visvesvaraya, one of Bharat’s greatest minds. Since then, National Engineer’s Day is celebrated in Bharat on September 15th each year.
