Bharatiya student Jaahnavi Kandula, a 23-year-old, who is a resident of Andhra Pradesh who was pursuing a master’s degree from the Northeastern University in Seattle was hit and killed in an accident recently by a police car. Notably, the university has now decided to present her master’s degree posthumously. The tragic death of Jaahnavi Kandula has left the college, her peers and parents in shock. Jahanvi Kandula lost her life in January when she was hit by a police car driven by Officer Kevin Dave at a speed of 119kmph on his way to check reports of an overdose.
