Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, recently addressed a party meeting in Lahore via video link from London. Notably, he stated that while Bharat has reached the Moon and successfully hosted the G20 summit but Pakistan is begging money from the whole world. Presently, Sharif is in London and blamed Pakistan’s former generals and judges for the country’s economic plight. However, Pakistan has been facing a crippling economic crisis for many months, which has brought untold pressure on the poor population due to skyrocketing inflation, rising energy prices and shortage of fuel.
