Jyoti Mayal, the President of the Travel Agents Association of Bharat said, ‘The Bharatiya High Commission has stopped the issuance of Visas to Canadian nationals. The Canadian Embassy has so far not commented on the visa processing for Bharatiya nationals. Bharatiya nationals, students in Canada and those planning on travelling to the country were advised to exercise caution on September 20. As per Ministry of External Affairs, Bharatiya nationals and Bharatiya students in Canada were advised to avoid travelling to regions in Canada that have seen growing anti-Bharatiya activities.
