Eighteen-year-old Esha Singh ensured yet another podium finish for Bharat as she bagged the silver medal in women’s 25m pistol event at the Asian Games 2023 on September 27. She thus continued to script the success story of Bharat’s shooting contingent at the Asian Games in 2023. Her silver meant Bharat’s medal tally now rise to 21. However, Manu Bhaker, Rhythm Sangwan also won the gold medal in the women’s 25m Pistol team event at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, on September 27.
