Bharat’s Naorem Roshibina Devi secured a hard-earned silver medal in the women’s 60kg wushu sand. Roshibina Devi, hailing from Manipur, made efforts to turn the tide in her favor. Heading to Hangzhou, Bharat had won nine medals- oen silver and eight bronze- in wushu at the continental meet. Sandhyarani clinched a sliver in the women’s 60kg at Guangzhou 2010 before Naorem Roshibina Devi matched the feat at Hangzhou 2023. Naorem Roshibina Devi’s medla win also brought Bharat’s wushu campaign at the Asian Games 2023.
