The Enforcement Directorate is carrying out search
operations in multiple locations linked to Rajasthan Congress president Govind
Singh Dotasra and Independent MLA Om Prakash Hudla, sources said on Thursday.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, meanwhile, in a
post on X stated that the probe agency has issued summons to his son Vaibhav.
Gehlot pointed out that the ED’s action against
Dotasra and summons to his son came just a day after his government had
announced guarantees for women, while campaigning for the upcoming State
Assembly elections.
While there is no official statement from the ED, the
raids are said to be in connection with the paper leaks. This is the first time
that raids have been conducted on Dotasra.
Both Dotasra and Hudla have been fielded again from
their respective seats of Laxmangarh in Sikar and Mahwa in Dausa, respectively.
More details are awaited in the case.
