Katrina Kaif’s jaw-dropping and never-done-before
action scenes will leave her fans in awe. The actor plays the role of Zoya, the
first female spy from the Tiger franchise, and talks about enjoying the breath-taking
stunts and larger-than-life action sequences while shooting for Tiger 3.
What Katrina loved most about Zoya that “there is
nothing that a woman can’t do when it comes to saving her family or a nation or
humanity”.
The actor feels that “a character like Zoya is
important and necessary to tell people that girls can be nurturers as well as
fierce protectors. Zoya is one of the most cherished roles of my career!”
Zoya’s ability to “match anyone with her grit and
courage” and that “she doesn’t back down from a fight and she can be as good as
if not better than a man when it comes to doing action” impresses Katrina.
Talking about it further, Katrina says, “Zoya’s style
of action is also unique. She can pull off some very complicated action
sequences with ease like you see in the trailer. Zoya is pitted against an army
of enemies and she fights all by herself!”
Katrina is elated that Zoya’s character is made fiercer
with every film and essaying the role “is a dream come true” as she “loves
action as a genre”.
“I knew this was going to be a part of my legacy, so I
always gave my 200 per cent for this franchise. Every Tiger film has taken
Zoya’s character a notch above, and she has fought harder, and it has been
bloodier. That’s the USP of the character, which I love,” the actor remarked.
Striving to attain that perfection – Zoya with agility,
more speed, greater strength – Katrina worked hard for at least two months to prepare
for the action.
She really had to go through the grind and it was “definitely
the toughest training” of her career so far.
“When you see the kind of action that Zoya has done,
you will realise that such sequences may not have been attempted by a woman
before,” Katrina claimed.
She further says, “Executed by some of the best action
teams in the world. I’m super excited for audiences to see these sequences on
the big screen.”

is paired opposite Salman Khan, who reprises his iconic role as super agent
Tiger.
