Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu, sending a strong warning to Hezbollah, warned the Iranian-backed
group against instigating an all-out war.
He said in such a case, Beirut – Lebanon’s
capital – would be turned into Gaza and Khan Yunis.
“If Hezbollah decides to open an all-out
war, then with its own hands it will turn Beirut and southern Lebanon, which
are not far from here, into Gaza and Khan Yunis,” said Netanyahu.
He remarked this during his visit to the
Israel Defense Forces’ Northern Command Headquarters with Israeli Defence
Minister Yoav Gallant and IDF Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi.
The warning comes in the aftermath of a
guided missile attack supposed to be done by Hezbollah, resulting in the death
of a 60-year-old Israeli man in northern Israel.
“We are determined to bring victory, and
we will do it with your help,” the Israeli Prime Minister further said.
