Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film’s extraordinary performance on Instagram, noting it as the third biggest 7-day total of all time. The film’s box office success is notable for being the highest-grossing ‘A’ certified film, released on a non-holiday, and facing a clash with another film. The Hindi version alone earned Rs 300.81 crore in Bharat, with a total of Rs 338.63 crore in all languages.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, ‘Animal’ explores the father-son relationship played by Anil and Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir’s character is portrayed as protective and obsessive about his father’s love, leading to threats against anyone hindering that love.
