Excitement is at its peak in Ayodhya as the city prepares for a big event of consecration of Lord Ram in the Ram temple. The whole city is vibrant with festival-like energy and people all over the country are eagerly waiting for this special moment. What adds to the already growing excitement is a beautiful song by a rising singer named Swasti Mehul, who’s song dedicated to Lord Ram has garnered immense popularity. The song has managed to capture the hearts of many, including Prime Minister Modi, who praised it on Twitter. This has further facilitated more traction to the song and has increased the enthusiasm for the event across the nation.
PM Modi’s tweet in Hindi, when translated to English, reads, “If you listen to this Bhajan of Swasti Ji once, it keeps resonating in your ears for a long while. It fills one’s eyes with tears and the mind with emotions.”

Vedic rituals for the Prana-Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Ram Lalla (infant Lord Ram) in Ayodhya will commence from January 16, which is a week before the main ceremony.
A priest from Varanasi, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, will carry on the main rituals of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla on January 22. Ayodhya will start with the Amrit Mahautsav from January 14 to January 22. A 1008 Hundi Mahayagya is also on the plan to be organised, in which thousands of devotees will be fed.
As per the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, arrangements will be made to capacitate around 10,000-15,000 people. Local authorities are under preparation to cope with the anticipated surge in visitors around the grand ceremony and are in the process of employing enhanced security measures and making logistical arrangements to confirm a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all attendees.
