The Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan will send 200 kilograms of laddus, to be made of seasonal ingredients, dry fruits, misri and saffron, as a sacred offering for a ‘yagya’ during the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Laddus will be sent on the occasion of Makar Sankranti in a vehicle decked up as a chariot for the week-long ‘yagya’ from January 16 to 22, said Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan secretary Kapil Sharma.
The Shri Krishna Janmasthan Trust’s six members have been invited to attend the consecration ceremony at Ayodhya’s Ram temple.
The twin idols of Shri Krishna and Radha Rani in Bhagwat Bhawan will be decked up as Lord Ram and Goddess Sita on the occasion of the sacred ceremony. It’s an exceptional move as so far “this has only been done on Ram Navami”, he added.
Bhagwat Bhawan will be decorated in such a way with lights, it will resemble the Ram temple.
The day of the consecration ceremony, Indian delicacies like kheer, puri and halwa will be served to devotees in the Krishna Janamsthan temple from 9 am. Besides, a havan will be organised and colourful rangolis will beautify the temple, said Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan member Gopeshwar Chaturvedi.
