Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma made a significant move in the latest T20I Women’s Bowling Rankings, climbing four spots to reach the second position. Deepti’s performance with figures of 2/24 and 2/22 in her two meetings with Australia helped her overtake South Africa’s Nonkululeko Mlaba. With a rating of 723 points, Deepti is just one point behind the top-ranked bowler.
Additionally, she maintained her fourth position in the T20I all-rounder rankings with an overall rating of 381. In the batting rankings, Australia’s Alyssa Healy re-entered the top 10, while Bharat’s Smriti Mandhana held her fourth-place spot. The update considered the final ODI between Bharat and Australia, resulting in minor movements across the rankings.
In other notable movements, Georgia Wareham climbed 15 spots to 28th in the bowling rankings, while Phoebe Litchfield, the ICC Emerging Women’s Cricketer of the Year nominee, jumped 26 places to 52nd in the batting rankings.
The top spot in the bowling rankings is held by Sophie Ecclestone with a rating of 746, while Ashleigh Gardner leads the T20I all-rounder rankings with a rating of 398.
