Prime Minister Narendra Modi, leading by
example irrespective of being in the top position, actively took part in the ‘Swachh
Bharat Mission’ and cleaned the premises of the Kalaram Temple in Maharashtra’s
Nashik. This initiative was part of the broader nationwide cleanliness campaign
aimed at encouraging hygiene and sanitation.
Prior to the inauguration of the
National Youth Festival, PM Modi conducted a grand roadshow in Nashik.
Accompanied by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his Deputies Devendra Fadnavis
and Ajit Pawar, he visited the Shree Kalaram Mandir following the roadshow.
During his visit to the temple, PM Modi
immersed himself in the spiritual ambiance. He was captured sitting at the
temple, playing cymbals, a musical instrument, while priests chanted Ram
Bhajans.
Apart from these moves by the leaders, the
priests recited the ‘Yudh Kanda’ segment of the Ramayana, depicting Lord Rama’s
return to Ayodhya. The verses, sung in Marathi with the aid of an AI
translation tool, reached the Prime Minister in Hindi. This unique cultural and
spiritual exchange showcased the diversity and unity embedded in Bharat’s cultural
tapestry.
