Reacting to Iran’s recent missile attack
on Pakistan, Bharat asserted the issue pertains solely to the two involved
nations. While emphasizing its “zero tolerance for terrorism,” Bharat’s External
Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal acknowledged the right of
countries to take actions in self-defense.
“This is a matter between Iran and
Pakistan. Insofar as Bharat is concerned, we have an uncompromising zero
tolerance towards terrorism. We understand actions that countries take in their
self-defence,” stated Jaiswal.

two bases belonging to the Sunni Balochi terror group Jaish al Adl in Pakistan,
citing self-defence following attacks on Iranian security forces near the
Pakistan border.

sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan, but don’t allow national
security to be compromised or played with”.

Pakistan reported the death of two children and issued a strong
protest to Iran, deeming the incident “completely unacceptable” and warning of
potential “serious consequences.”

suspended planned high-level bilateral visits.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas

threat” to the region. The Foreign Ministry cautioned against unilateral
actions, fearing potential ramifications on regional peace and stability.
