In a major setback for the Congress
party in Arunachal Pradesh, a significant number of its members, including former

NPP, and the People’s Party of Arunachal officially joined the BJP.
The event, attended by senior BJP
leaders Tarh Tarak, Taring Rai, Techi Necha, and Nalong Mize, was marked by a
commitment to work towards achieving a Congress-free Arunachal Pradesh.
Among the prominent figures, who joined
the BJP were former Chief Engineer Lupalam Kri, former District Medical Officer
Dr Mendep Perme, former Anjaw District Parishad Council members Tsering
Thongdok, Paha Mimi, Buglelum Tega, former Member of Legislative Assembly Kamtok
