Ahead of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony
at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Odisha’s skilled sculptor Saswat Ranjan
intricately fashioned a matchstick replica of the revered temple in Puri.
Saswat Ranjan shared, “It took six days
to complete this Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir replica, using a meticulous arrangement
of 936 matchsticks. The miniature structure measures 14 inches in length and
seven inches in width, a testament to the intricate detailing achievable with
matchsticks.”
Expressing his wish to present the
unique creation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ranjan stated, “I want
somebody to help me do this.”
The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, set to
occur today in the presence of dignitaries including PM Modi and Uttar Pradesh
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, will witness the consecration of Ram Lalla at
the Ayodhya Temple.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra
Trust announced a grand musical event titled ‘Mangal Dhwani’ as part of the
ceremony, featuring renowned musicians. The event is scheduled for 10 am, with
the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ritual for Shri Ram Lalla to follow at 12:30 pm.
Cities nationwide, notably Lucknow in
Uttar Pradesh, have been adorned with Lord Ram posters, flags, and vibrant
lights in preparation for the momentous occasion. Special guests from various
fields, including cricket, film, politics, and literature, have received
invitations for the ceremony.
