As a pristine and gilded Ayodhya awaits Lord Rama’s return to his birthplace and take his throne on January 22, multiple sitting ministers in New Zealand sent out congratulatory messages to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that it was his leadership that made possible the construction of the Ram Temple possible after over a prolonged wait of 500 years.
New Zealand’s Minister for Regulation, David Seymour, in conversation with ANI, said, “Jai Shri Ram…I congratulate everyone in Bharat, including PM Modi, because it was his leadership that made the construction of Ram Temple possible after almost 500 years. The temple is exquisite and is built to last another 1000 years.”
David Seymour, sharing his enthusiasm to pay a visit to the grand structure, said, “My wishes to PM Modi’s courage and wisdom as he helps over a billion people in Bharat navigate the challenges of the world today.”
“I hope that he will have strength and faith,” added the minister.
Melissa Lee, New Zealand’s Minister for Ethnic Communities, said the Ram Mandir is the result of PM Modi’s leadership and work. The minister said, “My wishes to the Bharatiya diaspora around the world for the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. My heartiest congratulations to PM Modi and the people of Bharat upon the inauguration of Ram Mandir after 500 years.”
“PM Modi’s work has translated into the Ram Mandir and his championing of resurrecting this Mandir. He has been elected so many times as the Prime Minister. The public support and mandates in favour of PM Modi displays his desire to take Bharat forward along with the economy to new heights. PM Modi is deeply respected around the world and he is putting in some very good work for the people of Bharat,” she said.
As the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya approaches, festivities among the Bharatiya community beyond Bharatiya shores have been unbridled.
The latest demonstration of the celebrations among the natives across the world was displayed by the members of the Bharatiya community in Sydney celebrating the lead-up to the Ram Temple inauguration by holding a car rally. The event saw participation of more than 100 cars, holding flags embossed with images of Lord Ram, attracting hundreds of Ram devotees and passersby in the neighbourhood.
Several similar celebratory events featuring fireworks displays and the waving of saffron flags featuring the images of Lord Ram on it.
Previously, in the US, hundreds of Bharatiya citizens organised a car rally in Edison, New Jersey. A total participation of over 350 cars was noted in the rally.
The president of the Mauritius Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation, Bhojraj Ghoorbin, informed that all temples in the island country will be organising the chanting of verses from the epic ‘Ramayan’ on January 22, to mark the celebration of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct the ceremonial enthronement of the idol of Shri Ram Lalla inside the sanctum-sanctorum of the grand temple on January 22. Leaders and dignitaries coming from all walks of life have been invited to the grand temple opening in Ayodhya.
