Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang
expressed admiration for the consecration ceremony at the newly constructed Ram
temple in Ayodhya, emphasizing that the event symbolizes a convergence of faith
and cultural heritage that transcends regional boundaries.
Tamang conveyed immense pride for Sikkim’s
participation in the shared national joy, as the Himalayan State stands united
with the nation in celebration of this historic occasion.
The CM described this day as eternally
significant in the illustrious history of the nation. In a statement on social
media, he remarked, “On this momentous occasion, Ram Lalla, the revered deity,
is poised to return to his sacred birthplace in Ayodhya.”
Tamang highlighted the grandeur of the
day, particularly the mega ‘Pran-Pratishtha’ ceremony, signifying the
consecration of Lord Ram Lalla’s idol within the newly constructed Ram
Janmabhoomi Temple.
Expressing the collective spirit of
reverence and unity that binds the nation, Tamang stated, “This convergence of
faith and cultural heritage transcends regional boundaries, and Sikkim takes
immense pride in being a part of this shared national joy.”
The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony commenced
at 12:20 pm and is expected to conclude by 1 pm, followed by an address from
Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Tamang concluded with a hopeful message,
saying, “May the consecration of Lord Ram Lalla’s idol at the Ram Janmabhoomi
Temple usher in an era of peace, prosperity, and unity for our great nation.”
