Film Stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, Anupam Kher, Kangana Ranaut, Tiger Shroff and Asha Bhosale among others arrived at Ayodhya’s Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Complex for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
The list of attendees include Cricket legends like Anil Kumble, Sachin Tendulkar and Venkatesh Prasad. Additionally, Music composers such as Anu Malik arrived at Shri Ram Janambhoomi temple in Ayodhya for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony.
Anu Malik, in conversation with ANI, said, “PM Modi recently remarked that he liked one of the Bhajans composed by me. It is a beautiful feeling and I am delighted to be here. My eyes filled with tears when I saw the Temple for the first time.”
On the other hand, Vivek Oberoi said, “It’s both magical and spectacular. I have seen many images of it. However, when you look at it right before your eyes, it appears as if you are watching something magical.”
Actor Anupam Kher, having been in Ayodhya for the past couple of days, said, “Historic! Wonderful! I had never witnessed a similar atmosphere for Hindu religion ever before. This is even bigger than Diwali. Maryada Purushottam Ram stands as a symbol of goodness and a sense of sacrifice. And today, we can see those sentiments here.”
Actor Chiranjeevi who visited Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya only to attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony said “This being a God-given opportunity, we are extremely delighted to be here…” he says
Pran Pratishtha was conducted in the presence of Prime Minister Modi, Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Mohan Bhagwat, Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel as well as Chief Minister of U.P. Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries.
Acharyas belonging to different schools of Bharatiya spiritualism, religion, sect, system of worship, tradition, Sants of more than 150 traditions, Mahamandaleshwars, Mandaleshwars, Shrimahants, Mahants, Nagas, along with the leading figures of more than 50 Adivasi, Girivasi, Tatavasi, Dwipavasi tribal traditions, had their presence noted to witness the Prana Pratishtha ceremony on the premises of the Bhavya Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir.
The tribal traditions find their presence being represented by its people of the hills, forests, coastal belts, islands, etc. Such is happening for the first time in recent history. The traditions are such as Shaiva, Vaishnav, Shaakta, Ganapatya, Patya, Sikh, Bauddha, Jain, Dashnam, Shankar, Ramanand, Ramanuj, Nimbarka, Madhva, Vishnu Nami, Ramsanehi, Ghisapanth, Garibdasi, Gaudiya, Kabirpanthi, Valmiki, Shankardev (Assam), Madhav Dev, ISKCON, Ramakrishna Mission, Chinmaya Mission, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Gayatri Parivar, Anukul Chandra, Thakur Parampara, Mahima Samaj of Odisha, Akali, Nirankari, Namdhari from Punjab, Radhasoami, and Swaminarayan, Varkari, Veer Shaiva, etc.
The construction of the magnificent Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir is done in traditional Nagara style. Its length (east-west) is 380 feet; width 250 feet and height is 161 feet; and is supported in totality of 392 pillars and 44 doors. The pillars and walls of the temple hold sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, gods, and goddesses. The main sanctum-sanctorum which is at the ground floor houses the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram, that is, the idol of Shri Ramlalla finds its placement.
