In a significant move, the Bharatiya Janata Party-BJP kicked off its election campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, introducing the slogan – Modi Ko Chunte Hai or Let Us Choose Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The launch took place amidst the spirited atmosphere of the first-time voters’ conclave – NaMo Navmatdata Sammelan – attended by PM Modi and BJP president JP Nadda.
The event featured the unveiling of the campaign’s theme song – Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar – echoing Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s pitch for the Lok Sabha elections – Sapne Nahi Haqeeqat Bunte Hai, Tabhi Toh Sab Modi Ko Chunte Hain or Not Dreams, But (We) Weave Reality, That’s Why Everyone Chooses Modi.

The campaign song painted a picture of Bharat’s transformative journey under PM Modi’s leadership, emphasizing the realization of promises and the transformation of dreams into reality. It concluded with a powerful image of PM Modi prostrating before the Ram Lalla idol during the ‘pran pratistha’ in Ayodhya’s Ram Temple on January 22.
Highlighting PM Modi’s accomplishments, the song delved into numerous projects and the government’s foreign policy success. A variation of the song – Tabhi Toh Sab Modi Ko Chunte – had been previously launched ahead of the State elections in 2023.
Speaking at the event, JP Nadda conveyed the party’s commitment to PM Modi’s vision of building a Saksham Bharat, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, and a Viksit Bharat.
He expressed confidence in PM Modi’s leadership, stating, “Only a great leader like Modi Ji can help realize this goal. We have a firm belief that under the visionary leadership of Modi Ji, Bharat will soon become a developed country.”
PM Modi, virtually connecting with the conclave, underscored the strength of a full majority government, asserting that Bharat’s glory shines on the global stage. He emphasized the collective representation of 140 crore Indians and the resilience of the nation, attributing it to the power of a ‘poorna bahumat sarkar’ (full majority government).
