France President Emmanuel Macron, at the
outset of his address during President Droupadi Murmu’s banquet, expressed
heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome extended to his delegation, reaffirmed
the longstanding friendship with Bharat and wished, “Long live the friendship
between France and Bharat.”
The French President has been appreciative
about the long standing unique bond and shared values, the exceptional welcome,
his return to Bharat after its resounding G20 success and participation of the French
soldiers alongside their Indian counterparts, deeming it an unforgettable
memory for the entire delegation.
“I think this is for everybody here in
this delegation, in our memories forever,” he added.
