Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa is set to show off his acting skills with his upcoming film ‘Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay’.
The film is expected to be a rom-com, starring Anupam Kher and Saiee M Manjrekar. On January 30, the makers unveiled the film’s teaser. The movie is set in Agra and is a tedhi-medhi love story between Guru and Saiee.
Guru shared the teaser’s link on Instagram and wrote, “A love story that is as sweet as candy, having a twist of Sirfira Majnu’s antics and the Laila’s charm. Join us on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, drama and a whole lot of fun! #KKHJTeaser Out Now.”
The director of the film is G. Ashok while the producers are Amit and Laveena Bhatia. ‘Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay’ marks Guru’s acting debut.
The makers of the film recently revealed a groovy party number ‘Bottley Kholo’, the reception of which from the audience has been decent. ‘Bottley Kholo’, is a peppy song filled with bling which is sung by Guru Randhawa and is directed by Meet Bros with the lyrics written by Starbog Loc.
Guru, in conversation regarding the track, earlier shared, “Being a part of ‘Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay’ has been special since the very beginning. ‘Bottley Kholo’ is a sneak peek into the amazing moments that we’ve all shared on the sets. Working with Meet Bros on this song as well as alongside such talented actors that have made this journey truly special for me.”
