Chief Minister Pema Khandu, in response to China’s territorial claims on Indian State of Arunachal Pradesh, inaugurated numerous noteworthy infrastructure projects in the border district Anjaw, near the China and Myanmar.

The inauguration ceremony, participated by Arunachal East MP Tapir Gao, MLA Dasanglu Pul, MLA Zignu Namchoom, MLA Phurpha Tsering and others marked the launching of projects, including the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, spanning 22 acres, in Hawai town and VKV school building under the BADP scheme in Hayuliang town, along with RCC bridges along the border road.
