Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, Israeli Defence Forces or IDF deployed a new tactic, disguising themselves as civilians and medical workers, to carry out a raid in the occupied West Bank. The IDF held a surprise operation at Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin, targeting and reportedly killing three Hamas militants, who were said to be asleep at the time of the attack.
CCTV footage capturing the incursion has been circulated widely on social media platforms, depicting armed IDF commandos entering the hospital disguised as doctors, nurses, and even women wearing hijabs. The commandos, dressed in scrubs and doctor’s coats, can be seen swiftly moving through the hospital to confront their targets.
In one particularly striking image, a commando wearing a surgical mask is shown carrying both a rifle and a folded wheelchair, blending into the medical environment to execute the operation.
Another video from the scene captures IDF commandos conducting a search, with one individual being patted down against a wall with his arms raised in surrender. The raid has sparked significant controversy and condemnation, raising questions about the use of such tactics in civilian environments and the implications for medical neutrality in conflict zones.
