Poonam Pandey, popular as model-actress and internet sensation has died due to cancer, as confirmed by a post on Instagram on the morning of February 2.
”This morning is a tough one for us. It is with great sadness that we inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. During this time of grief, we request privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared,” reads the post.
Namrata Dubey, renowned TV journalist, informed that Poonam passed away at her residence in Uttar Pradesh.
The news of her death came as a shock in the modelling as well as the film industry. On the other hand, a few social media users are also claiming that it may be a publicity stunt by her. She has garnered popularity for her viral Instagram posts and controversial stints.
The India TV’s Namrata Dubey has informed that the news of Poonam Pandey’s death has been confirmed by her PR team. The PR Team is expected to issue a press release sometime later.
