India’s thrilling two-wicket victory in the final match against South Africa led to jubilation equally among fans and the cricketing community. The ‘Boys In Blue’ secured their spot in the ICC Under 19 World Cup 2024 final for the fifth consecutive time by scribbling a fierce comeback.
India were staring down the barrel at 32-4. However, Sachin Dhas and skipper Uday Saharan’s masterful stroke play and enduring a top-order collapse transformed the game, leading to the two-wicket triumph over South Africa at Benoni on Tuesday.
Among many others, former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly commended the “fantastic performance” displayed by the Indian young team as well the South African side’s “some good talent” on the social media platform.

The Indian Premier League or IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore compared Uday Saharan and Sachin Dhas with popular Hindi cinema duo saying they were “giving KaranArjun vibes!”
Subsequently, India will compete for the title clash with the winner of the second semi-final between Australia and Pakistan on February 11.
