Showcasing sincere efforts to provide better health services in Tripura, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha inaugurated a field hospital comprising 50 beds and OT Complex at Amarpur Sub Division under Gomati district on Friday.
Expressing satisfaction over the transformative move of the Tripura Government, CM Dr Manik Saha stated it “has been strengthening the infrastructure in various sub-divisional and district hospitals to realise the vision of PM Narendra Modi in ensuring healthcare to all… The new medical facility will fulfil the long-standing aspirations of the people of this region”.

Besides, multiple other plans to improve health infrastructures in Tripura included commencing development works of medical hubs, attracting high number of investors in medical services and improvement of the quality of service at District, Sub-Division, Primary Health Centres and Social Health Centres, mentioned the CM.
As many as 4,75,000 families, excluded from Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, will now avail benefits under the CM Jan Arogya Health Scheme for which annual fund of Rs 59 crore have been allocated after the decision was approved in a cabinet meeting recently. The initiative will be unveiled in the State from February 15, added Dr Saha.
Highlighting the State Government’s numerous plans, the CM mentioned Dental and Nursing Colleges have begun operation in the State and developmental works have been initiated in agriculture and agriculture related sectors, industries, communication and education fields.
