Speaking at the inauguration of the National Skill Training Institute exclusively for women in Agartala’s Anandanagar, he accentuated the government’s commitment to providing women with better opportunities.
“The establishment of this institute marks a crucial step forward in our efforts towards women’s empowerment. Equipped with modern facilities, this institute will offer women access to enhanced skill development opportunities,” stated CM Saha during the virtual inauguration, attended by Union Education and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Elucidating on the scope of the institute’s offerings, CM Saha mentioned, “The inauguration of the institute’s building today, along with the launch of a girls’ hostel, reflects our dedication to women’s empowerment. Through various schemes and skill development initiatives, we aim to empower women and foster employment generation. It’s noteworthy that students from other States have also enrolled, reflecting the broader impact of our efforts.”
