Following closely behind are Finland, the Netherlands, South Korea, and Sweden, boasting visa-free access to 193 nations, solidifying their status among the world’s most travel-friendly nations.
Bharat, with visa-free access to 62 nations, secures the 85th position on the index, which meticulously evaluates 199 passports based on their global access capabilities. While Indians enjoy hassle-free travel to popular tourist destinations like Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, the country has slipped one rank from its previous 84th position.
Bharat’s passport ranking places it behind countries such as South Africa (55th), Maldives (58th), Saudi Arabia (63rd), China (64th), Thailand (66th), Indonesia (69th), and Uzbekistan (84th).
Among Bharat’s neighbouring nations, Pakistan holds the 106th position, while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal secure the 101st, 102nd, and 103rd positions, respectively.
The United Kingdom shares the third spot on the index with Luxembourg, Ireland, Denmark, and Austria, boasting visa-free access to 192 nations. Close behind, Belgium, Norway, and Portugal occupy the fourth position, offering visa-free entry to 191 countries.
The top 5 places on the index concluded with Australia, Greece, Malta, New Zealand and Switzerland, after they have visa-free access to 190 countries.
Canada, the United States, Poland, and Czechia jointly rank sixth on the index, with visa-free entry to 189 nations, highlighting their significant role in international travel facilitation.
At the bottom of the index, Afghanistan holds the 109th position, with the least powerful passport, granting access to only 28 nations. Countries like Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and the Palestinian Territory precede Afghanistan, reflecting the stark contrast in global mobility privileges.
