Prime Minister Narendra Modi spearheaded the inauguration, foundation laying, and dedication ceremonies for over 2,000 railway infrastructure initiatives, collectively valued at approximately ₹41,000 crore. Characterising the event as the symbol of the work culture of ‘New India,’ PM Modi highlighted the nation’s newfound penchant for ambitious goals.
“This event symbolises the work culture of New Bharat. Presently, Bharat operates with unprecedented velocity and magnitude, forsaking modest aspirations to pursue grand ambitions and swiftly translate them into reality,” remarked PM Modi.
Expressing confidence in his government’s prospect of securing a third term, PM Modi highlighted the remarkable pace and scale of ongoing efforts. “Today, we have launched and initiated the groundwork for over 2,000 railway projects. As we approach the inception of our government’s third term in June, the magnitude and alacrity of our initiatives are astounding observers,” he proclaimed.
Among the initiatives, the PM laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of 553 railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, underscoring the government’s commitment to upgrading and enhancing the country’s railway infrastructure.
