Tech titan Bill Gates praised Bharat’s remarkable advancements, highlighting the country’s exceptional talent pool and its significant contributions to numerous domains, including health, education, and digital technology. Gates pointed towards the fruitful outcomes of educational investments made in previous years.
“Bharat has made incredible progress. The depth of talent in this country is phenomenal. It’s evident that the educational investments made years ago are really paying off,” remarked Gates.
Acknowledging the Indian Government’s focus on crucial sectors, Gates expressed his optimism about collaborating with Bharat to assist other nations in achieving similar successes. He underscored the productive discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, focusing on AI, women-led development, and innovations in agriculture and health.
Following the meeting, Gates shared insights on Twitter, highlighting the discussions on various topics aimed at global betterment.
In addition to meeting PM Modi, Gates engaged with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, exchanging books and engaging in fruitful conversations.
Amid his engagements, Gates made a notable appearance at the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant. Expressing his excitement about attending his first Indian wedding, Gates remarked on the grandeur of the event, organised to perfection by the Ambani family.
“I’m starting at the top. It’ll be hard to go to another Indian wedding after this one. I know the family. They actually organised my visit so that I could attend. I went and got fitted for clothes, so it’ll be a fun thing to do,” Gates remarked enthusiastically.
