Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after completing elephant safari at the Kaziranga National Park, interacted with the team of women forest guards, who with their determination and courage are protecting the wildlife and forest. They are known as Van Durga.
Appreciating their courage and efforts, the PM expressed, Van Durga “are at the forefront of conservation efforts, bravely protecting our forests and wildlife”. Praising their dedication and courage in safeguarding the natural heritage, he termed it as “truly inspiring”.
