Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with an aim to making the Northeast the growth engine of Bharat, inaugurated world’s longest twin-lane tunnel – the Sela Tunnel – in Arunachal Pradesh and addressed the Viksit Bharat Viksit Northeast programme in capital Itanagar on Saturday.
Sela Tunnel, located at an altitude of 13,000 feet and strategically important area, will ensure all-weather connectivity to Arunachal’s Tawang.
