Samuel Lalbiakhlua, 11 years old from the Saitual hamlet of Mizoram, has etched his name in the pages of Indian aviation history by becoming one of the country’s youngest paragliding pilots.
Samuel’s journey to the skies took flight at the world-renowned paragliding institute of Bir Billing in Himachal Pradesh on March 16. Despite commencing his training just a week prior, the young pilot exhibited exceptional skill and determination, soaring high above Bir Billing’s picturesque landscape.
His successful solo flight catapulted him into an elite league of young aviators who have graced the skies of Bir Billing. Undeterred by his age, Samuel has set his sights on achieving the P2 level, a significant milestone in the field of paragliding.
