Tragic details have emerged in the heart-wrenching double murder case that shook Badaun in Uttar Pradesh, as a man allegedly committed the brutal act against innocent children. Sajid, a barber by profession, allegedly claimed the lives of two young boys, Ayush and Honey, while leaving their brother Piyush injured but alive, currently undergoing treatment in a hospital.
Sajid, who operated a barber shop opposite the victims’ residence and was acquainted with their father Vinod, visited their home on the fateful evening on Tuesday. Ostensibly seeking a loan of ₹5,000, supposedly for his pregnant wife’s medical expenses, Sajid found Vinod absent. Seizing the opportunity, he allegedly launched a savage attack on Vinod’s three children while their mother momentarily left the room to prepare tea.
Subsequently, on pursuing Sajid, the perpetrator reportedly opened fire at police personnel before meeting his demise in an encounter. The incident incited tension in the city, prompting enraged residents to set fire to Sajid’s barber shop.
Police authorities dispelled rumours of occult involvement in the killings and intensified efforts to monitor social media platforms to prevent the spread of misinformation. According to the victim’s family, Sajid deceived Vinod’s wife Sangeeta, with a fabricated story about his wife’s impending childbirth, ultimately leading to her lending him the requested sum.
Sangeeta recounted how Sajid coerced her 11 year-year-old eldest son, Aayush, into guiding him upstairs under the guise of inspecting her beauty salon. Tragically, upon reaching the second floor, Sajid purportedly plunged into a frenzy of violence, fatally attacking Aayush and his younger brother, Ahaan, with a knife.
However, the youngest sibling, Piyush, managed to escape as Sajid allegedly fled the scene with his brother, Javed, waiting outside on a motorcycle. During investigation, Vinod denyied any prior conflict with Sajid.
While the motive behind the ghastly murders remains shrouded in mystery, suspicions point towards a possible dispute between Sajid and Vinod.
