In a historic moment for Bharat, Joseph Vanlalhruaia from Northeastern State Mizoram has emerged victorious, securing the WMO World Title Belt in the 51 KG category at the 6th International Thai Martial Arts Games held in Thailand’s Pattaya.
The nation erupted in celebration as news of Joseph’s triumph spread far and wide, earning accolades from every corner.
Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to Vanlalhruaia, recognising the significance of his achievement as the first representative from both Mizoram and Bharat to claim this prestigious title.
CM Lalduhoma wrote on a socialmedia post, “Congratulations, Joseph Vanlalhruaia! Your victory at the Thailand 6th International Martial Arts Games is not just historic, but truly inspiring! Being the first from Mizoram and Bharat to clinch the belt is a testament to your dedication, skill, and passion.”
Competing under the banner of Spartans Martial Arts and Fitness in Kerala’s Kochi, Joseph showcased his prowess by securing a decisive stoppage win over Yeh Lichih of Taiwan in the title match.
