Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma has extended “heartfelt greetings and congratulations to everyone” on the delightful occasion of Holi.
Sharing a video of unique and vibrant Holi celebration of Barpeta Satra, he highlighted, “In Barpeta, Holi is celebrated with great fervour. In Assam, Holi is also known as the Dol Utsav or Phakuwa. Here, Holi is celebrated in the same manner as it was celebrated by Lord Krishna.”
