His inherited property includes one-third share in two plots of land, with an approximate market value of Rs 90,00,000, and an inherited 1818 sq ft flat in New Delhi’s Vasant Kunj, worth Rs 1,35,00,000.
Additionally, Gogoi revealed details about the case filed against him at the Basistha police station under Kamrup Metropolitan district during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, involving various sections of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984. So far, no summons had been received from any court, and he had not been convicted of any criminal offence.
Moreover, Gogoi’s wife Elizabeth Clare Gogoi, a senior consultant in a private firm, declared movable assets worth Rs 2,03,04,832, including jewellery worth Rs 27,61,687. The couple disclosed cash in hand, with Gogoi and his wife holding Rs 45,600 and Rs 25,200, respectively.
