In a recent directive, the Manipur Government has decided to designate Saturday and Sunday as regular working days for the current year. Through the decision, the administration aims to facilitate uninterrupted operations in government offices and ensure the completion of essential tasks as the financial year approaches its end.
Manipur Government’s Deputy Secretary Angom Heera Singh issued an order signed by Governor Anusuiya Uikey that stated, “The Manipur Governor has decided to declare March 30 (Saturday) and March 31 (Sunday) as working days for all Government Offices, including Public Sector Undertakings, Corporations, Autonomous Bodies, and Societies under the Manipur Government. This decision aims to ensure the smooth functioning of offices during the final days of the Financial Year (2023-24).”
