Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma launched the Vijay Sankalp Yatra with a bicycle rally in Assam’s the spiritual centre Majuli, located within the Jorhat constituency. He plans to cover 30 plus Assembly segments over the next 15 days in the State’s eastern and northern regions, which are slated for elections in the initial phase on April 19.
Exuding optimism for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s success in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, CM Himanta remarked, “In Majuli, I was touched by the immense love people showered upon our Vijay SankalpYatra, where we covered 15 km cycling, beginning it in Majuli – the spiritual centre of Assam. People will bless Respectable Narendra Modi with over 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.”
