Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma has committed to an array of inclusive welfare initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of the State’s residents. During his visit to Nagaon, where he filed nomination papers on behalf of BJP candidate Suresh Bora for Lok Sabha, the CM outlined plans to ensure widespread access to essential resources and benefits.
CM Himanta outlined the importance of providing ration cards to every household in Assam, enabling eligible individuals to avail themselves with facilities – life and health insurance cover with monetary assistance for premium from the State Government for the head member of the family in case of his or her untimely demise due to health or accident or any other reason, monetary assistance through the Orunodoi scheme, Ayushman Card, ujwala gas scheme.
