Moran, a survivor of the Hamas attack on October 7, expressed heartfelt appreciation towards Bharat and its people for their steadfast support during these challenging times owing to the Israel-Hamas conflict. This gesture highlights the enduring bond between Bharat and Israel, particularly evident in moments of adversity.
“I see the Indian support that started much before, years before October 7 and after October 7,” Moran expressed, highlighting Bharat’s enduring solidarity. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the prominent coverage of Israel’s plight in the media, affirming Bharat’s status as a true friend.
Moran’s gratitude extended beyond governmental aid, acknowledging the compassion and friendship shown by the Indian people. “Thanks to the Indian people, who have always been and continue to be a good friend of ours,” Moran added, accentuating the collective support from Bharat.
Recognising Bharat’s role in amplifying Israel’s voice globally, Moran added, “Our voice cannot be everywhere. And we know that the Indian people are taking care of everything we need.”
Israel’s Ambassador to Bharat, Naor Gilon, commended Bharat’s resolute stance against terrorism since the outset of the conflict. He expressed gratitude for the Indian Government’s unwavering support since the Hamas attack on October 7.
In an interview previously, Gilon acknowledged the “incredible support” from the Indian people amid the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
