Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh reaffirmed the State’s unwavering stance on preserving its core issues, emphasising peace restoration remains a top priority. Speaking at the BJP Manifesto release event at the BJP office Thambal Shanglen on April 17, he asserted that Manipur would not compromise on its essential concerns to achieve a harmonious resolution.
In his address, CM Biren highlighted the Central Government’s acknowledgment of Manipur’s challenges stemming from illegal immigration. He highlighted measures such as border fencing, suspension of the Free Movement Regime, and the implementation of the Inner Line Permit system as steps taken by the Centre to address these issues.
