Union Minister Kiren Rijiju recently shared his awe-inspiring experience from the remote Chandar village in Arunachal Pradesh, describing it as a slice of heaven on earth. The Minister, wrapping up his final day of election campaigning, expressed profound gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for elevating these border villages to the status of being the foremost in Bharat.
Taking to social media, Rijiju shared a beautiful video and wrote, “Heaven is Here! Arunachal Pradesh. My Last day of election campaign at remote Chandar village in Arunachal Pradesh. Now, these border villages have been treated as first villages of Bharat by PM Narendra Modi.”
Arunachal Pradesh, nestled in the Northeastern frontier of Bharat, is renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and serene landscapes. Minister Rijiju’s visit to Chandar village shows the significance of reaching out to these remote regions, which often remain marginalised from mainstream development initiatives.
In the video that is audible with little difficulty, Rijiju is seen captivated by the naturally grown rhododendron flowering trees, hospitality and simplicity of the locals and ethnic food. Terming these factors as the greatest contributor to the tourism and envisioning the tourism possibilities that abound in this pristine locale, Minister Rijiju stressed on the need to harness the natural beauty of the region to attract visitors and promote economic growth. He hailed the development work done under the leadership of PM Modi like road construction, mobile connection facilities, farming research centre, nutritious food for school children, electricity connection and free ration in this difficult terrain where even cultivating crops are not possible.
