Undeterred by the rain, Union Home Minister Amit Shah led a spirited roadshow in Silchar, the bustling hub of Assam’s Barak Valley, bordering Bangladesh. The event, held in support of BJP candidate Parimal Suklabaidya, drew a sea of enthusiastic supporters.
Joined by Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, Shah stood atop an adorned vehicle embellished with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s image.
The 2-kilometer procession commenced at the District Sports Association point, covering Central Road, Premtala, Ambikapatty, and Hospital Road, before reaching its culmination at Radhamadhav Road.
Shah’s presence electrified the atmosphere as he gracefully showered flower petals upon the crowd lining both sides of the route, undeterred by the rain, reflecting the unwavering spirit and dedication of the people towards the BJP’s vision.
