Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s dedication to his duties is evident in his personal choices. Despite residing in the official Chief Minister’s bungalow, his three children do not stay with him. Yadav, 49, explains that maintaining a separation between family and official responsibilities prevents any potential distractions or dilution of his focus.
The CM, a first-time incumbent and father of a daughter and two sons, expressed his rationale behind this decision, stating, “My child is studying in Bhopal… If he is in this environment, won’t he be disturbed? So if he has to study properly, he should focus on that.”
This approach extends to his daughter’s education as well. Even when she was pursuing her MBBS course in Bhopal, Yadav encouraged her to reside in a hostel to maintain a conducive environment for study.
While some may view this as a strict stance, Yadav believes it is essential to toughen up, asserting, “Our responsibilities might be diluted if we focus only on family… The more one grows, the more one should be careful.”
Despite the separation, Yadav asserted that his family understands and supports this decision, demonstrating a positive approach towards maintaining a balance between personal and professional life.
