Asom Gana Parishad president and Assam Agriculture Minister Atul Bora has raised concerns about the state of Opposition Congress, suggesting they face significant hurdles ahead.
Bora voiced doubts about Congress’ electoral prospects, indicating they are seeking alternative constituencies to secure votes. He lambasted Congress for what he sees as their failure to address national issues and their internal disunity.
“Congress is scouting for new electoral battlegrounds. Their condition is dire. They’ve done nothing for the nation, lacking both unity and a leader akin to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Public faith in them is waning due to their divide-and-rule tactics,” remarked Bora during a media interaction.
Drawing a sharp contrast, Bora highlighted PM Modi’s strong leadership, insinuating that Congress lacks a similar commanding figure. He further accused Congress of employing divisive politics, resulting in a loss of public trust.
