Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma has made a resolute declaration, stating that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir or PoK will inevitably become a part of Bharat.
Responding to Telangana CM Revanth Reddy’s comments on the Pulwama attack, CM Himanta stressed, “The Indian flag is now flying in PoK. In the coming years, PoK will be integrated into Bharat.”
The Assam CM criticised leaders of the INDIA alliance for what he perceives as politics of appeasement, highlighting recent statements by Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar suggesting restraint in addressing the PoK issue due to Pakistan’s nuclear capabilities. He expressed confidence that Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal has passed its expiration date.
The Northeastern State’s Top Leadership reiterated the stance of the Central Government, asserting that PoK rightfully belongs to Bharat and that no external force can seize it. He linked the return of PoK to Bharat with the NDA Government’s decision to revoke Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, stating that a third term for Prime Minister Modi’s Government is necessary to achieve this goal.
Campaigning for BJP candidate Girraj Singh in Begusarai, CM Himanta accentuated the NDA’s ability to provide stable governance and fulfil the aspirations of Bihar’s populace. He urged voters to support the NDA alliance for a brighter future.
